Tape Trick
Welcome to my little corner of this website where I will be sharing makeup tips, tricks, and looks with you a few Sunday’s throughout each month! The purpose of this space is to make makeup fun and inspiring. Some of these posts should serve to make your makeup routines less intimidating. That being said, some of the looks that I post should be used as sources of inspiration while showing you some of the cool things I can do! Let’s get started…
One of the most simple but best tricks I’ve picked up along the way is using scotch tape during eyeshadow application. I don’t always use this trick, because some looks don’t call for it, but it definitely serves its purpose on occasion. It’s as simple as using a small strip of scotch tape on either side of your forehead, close to your eyes – angled – as you can see below:
I find that tape serves as a great tool for understanding your ‘limit’ for where your eyeshadow should be placed. I’m able to achieve flattering, structured (but blended) looks. See below:
I think you can see what I mean 😉 I look forward to sharing more posts like this throughout the ‘Makeup By Steph Skork’ life! xx, – ss.
What a wonderful trick! Thank you for sharing with us! Can’t wait to give it a try this weekend. Looking forward to all of your upcoming tricks and tips.
